Some things in life are only ever experienced once. Blink, and it’s a memory. Time passes, and memories become your history. Film is the only way of capturing those memories that agree to remember them honestly. Not enhanced. Not repeated. Just true. Film takes you back, in a way that no other media can.
Even as it’s being recorded, film feels like a moment already gone - something held at a distance, the way a moment feels the instant after it actually happens, when it starts slipping out of reach. Film doesn’t just capture a moment, it remembers one.
We shoot predominantly with an early 90s Nikon f4 35mm lens (at the time the world’s leading film camera) . We also might use a 80yo 1940s Brownie in B&W when the situation calls for it. You receive a full gallery of digital images, sensitively edited for consistency. You will also receive the negatives as your keepsake.

Film
We use incredibly maintained 1970s gear, with macro features, and a zoom lens. We have 2 team members using Super 8 motion film, so when you need more than one technician, we can be in tow places at once, and capture all the moments. Each roll of film is around 2-3 mins long. Choose the length of film you would like, and add in hours of coverage for editing and delivery.
Stand Alone pricing
$250 per hour plus $250 per roll
(for example, 3 hours over coverage to capture your special moments, with a 4-6 min video would be $1250 or
for a 1 hour of coverage, with a 2-3 min video would be $500)

Ever dreamed of projecting your Super 8 or video session at your wedding reception or event? We would love to help you bring this to life. We will set up the projection equipment, and your silent film can be projected onto your reception drapery, a blank wall, or even a creative outdoor space with a backdrop in range. You will have a technician on site the entire time ensuring things run smoothly. And your movie will be played on a loop for your guests. These are fantastic talking points and takes any event from something beautiful to truly luxurious and unforgettable. It's a great surprise for guests.
