Live Painting

Every Wedding is different, and so is every portrait. Either as your guests are arriving or just after the Ceremony, I will meet your guests and take a reference photo to work from. I have a 1.5m table to work from, and once my images are uploaded, I will start painting the portraits of your guests. I work on a number at a time, and once they are finished they will be packaged and hung waiting for your guests to discover and collect.

Occasionally, when there is a lot of detail required, it may take a bit more time to complete the portraits. When this happens, I will take the rest back to my studio to complete, and have them mailed out usually within 1-2 weeks. There are no extra charges and postage covered.

For larger weddings, over 100 guests, or limited time frames with more guests, I will photograph all of your guests (this can take up to an hour or more). I will paint as many as I can in the time frame indicated in the package allotment. The remaining portraits will be painted in my studio and mailed out within 1-3 weeks after the event depending on the volume. The fee for surplus guests painted in the studio beyond the package allowance is $150 per x5 artworks per (5-10 guests). The same fee applies for custom place cards painted prior to the event and photographs will need to be supplied by you.

Most artworks are of couples. For Events with all guests painted individually on their own such as baby showers, hens parties etc, the option is available for a full body A4 fashion portrait for each of your guests. The package remains the same but half the number of artworks created in that time. For example, 3 Hours of live painting for $1050 will produce x7-10 A4 fashion portraits of your guests.
